Driving License-Type Patch Overlay Introduction
The driving license patch overlay is a high-performance heat-laminated film designed specifically for card surface protection and anti-counterfeiting. Made with a PET base, it features an embedded diffractive optical security image and is pre-die-cut for easy heat lamination directly onto the card surface.
Once applied, the overlay forms a strong and permanent bond that is difficult to remove, providing excellent tamper resistance and superior scratch durability. It effectively safeguards both the information integrity and the visual quality of the card.
Recently, Image Technology launched the Pentagram Series Patch Overlay, an innovative upgrade that integrates multiple visual physics and security printing technologies, including 3D dynamic suspension effects, optically variable ink (OVI), and photometric encryption.
This new series offers enhanced visual impact and multi-layered protection, available in both PC and PVC material versions. Sample testing is supported for customer evaluation.

Optical Pentagram Patch Overlay Applications
For standard-size PVC PC credentials, it's the regular form for a foreign driving license and personal certificate. Use the special laminator to position the heating of the optical pentagram patch overlay on the printed driver's license surface.
